What is the Knights & Conquests Heritage Centre Experience?
Granard in Co. Longford is the site of Ireland’s tallest Norman Motte, built in 1199. The Knights & Conquests Heritage Centre is adjacent to this site and tells the story of the Norman invasion of Ireland. With a wealth of audio-visual and interactive displays to discover, it is a wonderful place to spend a few hours’ exploring for adults and children alike.
